Dear Bristow Families,
We are heading into our final week before Winter Break, and there is so much to celebrate at Bristow! Students will be wrapping up their I-Ready testing while also enjoying the excitement of winter parties. This year, our winter parties will take place on Thursday, as some students will be attending the 212 Academy on Friday.
We are also in the midst of our school-wide behavior challenge for students who have no office referrals, detentions, or Bear Downs. We encourage all students to come to school each day ready to shine, make positive choices, and celebrate their successes.
As we close out 2025 and bring the second semester to an end, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our Bristow families. Your support, involvement, and dedication truly make this school a special place. We have been so grateful to see families volunteering in our building, reaching out for educational resources, and encouraging learning at home. Hearing students proudly talk about their nightly reading time is one of the greatest gifts we could receive.
Because of your partnership, Bristow continues to be a joyful, supportive, and successful place for students to learn and grow. Thank you for being such an incredible school community. We wish you and your families a safe, restful, and happy Winter Break filled with warmth and cheer!
With bear pride,
Sarah Baker

CONGRATS to our Heads of House and Vice Heads of House for the 2025-26 school year! These students were selected through an application process and were required to have a reference from a staff member in order to apply! We can't wait to see their leadership skills grow and shine!
